Head of Ciracas District, Panangaran Ritonga said this garbage cleanup has been carried out in stages since last Monday in a number of affected areas.

"We are cleaning up the garbage in stages because the impact of this flooding has caused garbage to spread in the urban village along the Cipinang River," he said, Wednesday (3/25).

Panangaran explained that the cleanup began in Kelapa Dua Wetan and Cibubur urban village, then continued in Ciracas urban village. Similar activities will then be carried out in Rambutan urban village from Thursday to Friday.

"The garbage that we clean will then be taken to the Bantar Gebang TPST and the TPS on Jalan TB Simatupang," he added.

According to him, the flooding caused by the overflowing Cipinang River has impacted 13 neighborhood units (RW) in the Ciracas District. Therefore, it will take time to address the situation.

"Of course, we are targeting to complete this as soon as possible so that the environment is clean, healthy and comfortable for residents again," he continued.
